A Letter to the Stars or Yes, I'm Co-Hosting Another Blogathon!

Almost as soon as our last blogathon was finished (a little bit over a month ago) Rianna left a comment here saying that she had been contacted by Marcela of Best of the Past about co-hosting yet another fabulous blogathon. Then Marcela contacted me and asked if I would like to co-host this blogathon with Rianna and her. My answer? Of course! Who doesn't like to host blogathons?

We classic film fans have a peculiar problem. That problem is the fact that the majority of our favorite stars are dead. Sad isn't it? And I'm sure that, like me, there are a lot of things that you wish you could tell them, but can't because, well, they're gone. That's where this blogathon starts. Letters to the stars, to the stars who have passed away. 

The rules are simple... 
1. Leave a comment on this post and let us know who you want to write your letter to. 
2. Write the letter to your star. Pour out your soul (like John does to Anne in that story she cooks up  Natalie, no Meet John Doe references right now I'm not talking in third person, I promise!). Anyway, write all the things you wish you could tell them. How have they inspired you? What legacy did they leave? What are your favorite things about them? Are you ever going to forget them? 
3. Post your letter and send the link to alettertothestars@hotmail.com

The blogathon will be hosted on October 21, 22, and 23. No matter how many entries we get, they'll all be split up between our three blogs. Later on we'll tell who is posting on which blog/which day. I think that's all...
