Happy [Early] Birthday, Livvie Dee!

Hi Guys,

On account of because I have posts lined up for the next few days, I am going to wish Olivia de Havilland a happy birthday now.

*****

You see, I always forget that Olivia de Havilland is still alive. I always think of Old Hollywood as long gone, no remnants left but us who still love it - then I remember Olivia de Havilland and how cute Granny de Havilland [which is totally what I her whenever I see a current picture of her] is still alive and still as flawless as ever.

Olivia de Havilland has been one of my top 4 favorite actresses for a while now. Mostly due to the fact that her performance in The Snake Pit is one of the best I've ever seen. She's really such a good actress. On the other hand, she's one of the most adorable [if not the most adorable] person[s] to walk the face of the earth.

I think my favorite performance was hers in "It's Love I'm After" where she steals the whole show and completely shadows Bette Davis. Then there's Gone with the Wind where, as I mentioned before, she was the only person I wasn't planning to murder.

Always lovely. Always sweet. Always oh-so-talented.
Long Live Livvie Dee.
Happy Early Birthday!

Until Later On~

:O Is this you admitting you wanted to kill Clark Gable? Am I even awake? (Pinch me now to make sure!)
Happy birthday Ms. de Havilland as well!

    1. Haha. No, I wanted to kill Rhett Butler. Clark Gable is still the king of Hollywood. And actually, I didn't dislike Rhett as much as Scarlett and Ashley. So...
