Gilda
I've only seen one Rita Hayworth movie, but for the last month or so I have been addicted to photos of Rita Hayworth. For this reason (and others of slightly less importance), I'm going to try to get my hands on some Rita films to see how much I'll really like her. I know where to find You Were Never Lovlier, You'll Never Get Rich, Gilda, and The Lady From Shanghai; but if you know where I can find any others, or if you have any suggestions I welcome everything gladly.
Until Later On~

Natalie,
ReplyDeleteI've seen "Gilda" and loved it. I can't wait to read your thoughts on her other films. She's a star I need to learn more about, too.
Haha, I really need to see "Gilda"... I can't wait to SEE her films! I'm excited to learn more about her. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen much Rita (though I'm supposed to this year), but I can recommend "Gilda" for sure & I also enjoyed "Cover Girl" with Gene Kelly, this is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfgX6yD8a78. There a ton of Rita movies on YT actually so have fun :) I did research on her personal life once for something and it's really interesting, Hollywood changed her appearance so much and she really was a very shy person. Plus she was married to royalty, so you should enjoy reading about her :)
ReplyDeleteThanks much, Rianna! I'm really looking forward to this. :D
DeleteFor those who can watch TCM, on Saturday April 7th. they are going to be showing Rita Hayworth films all night, starting at 8:00 PM (EST). Here's a link to the schedule:

ReplyDeleteI too am interested in seeing more Rita Hayworth movies and as someone noted above TCM is doing a bunch of movies. Hopefully you can recommend me some movies!
